Taking care of your skin is a daily routine, not just a seasonal ritual. And I know that when you're on the road, it's hard to keep up with what works for your skin - even if you're staying in one place for a while. I know, I've been through it!
I believe that every woman should be able to look good no matter where she goes, and that you shouldn't have to compromise on sustainability or luxury when doing so.
That's why I created and designed The Karry—to give women everywhere access to beautiful travel essentials without sacrificing anything else! To help you stay on top of your skincare game. Wherever you go: whether you're staying put or travelling, you can take your most trusted and favourite skincare products with you easily.
And because I believe beauty shouldn't come at the expense of the environment or our planet, I made sure everything about The Karry is as sustainable as possible, from the bottles and jars through to the travel pouch.
Hello. I’m Ginny, founder of The Karry
Travel has always inspired me. As a successful businesswoman, entrepreneur and mother, I’ve always been on the go. Jumping on the plane for my honeymoon, work trips, holidays with my family or just for a little relaxation.
The Karry came to me as a light-bulb moment while setting off on holiday alone for the first time since my (now grown-up) children were born. Booking a flight to the picturesque city of Seville, I wanted to pack all my luxury cosmeceutical products in a carry-on suitcase so I could continue my skincare regime whilst away.
Airport restrictions have always presented challenges for me when I used to travel during my City career.
When going away, I’d either pack way too many products - a suitcase for my skincare products is ok for a weekend away right?! Or I’d pack them in my carry-on luggage, then they would spill, damaged or confiscated by the delightful airport security. At times I’d not pack enough, or not pack any at all and then panic because of the ensuing skin eruptions from using hotel toiletries!
What I noticed, was that the only other alternative was to either decant in plastic containers or buy a whole new set of my luxury products in single-use miniature form. But that didn’t appeal to me because I had a personal mission to reduce my plastic consumption, and neither did I want to pay more for my skincare just because I was going away.
The trip to Seville highlighted to me that there were no compact, sustainable and stylish 100ml containers around to cater for my skincare travel needs. So I set about creating my own travel set of jars and bottles — my Karryables. A way to conveniently take my existing skincare products in a carry-on, within airport guidelines, in an environmentally conscious way.

After extensive research and exciting prototype developments, I created the full Karry Set using recyclable and reusable materials, as I wanted it to not just be stylish but good for the planet too.
What started out as an idea for easy travel solution turned into a great way to make skincare products portable – to take to the gym, on weekends away, yoga retreats or simply overnight.
In creating The Karry, months of great skincare needn’t go to waste. Now you and I can pack the trusty Karryables in The Karry Set no matter what journey lies ahead, and keep up with our skincare routine.
